Taylor Swift really was almost running with her dress unbuttoned as returned to the stage in Miami for the final leg of the Eras tour.
Taylor, 34, was performing “But Daddy I Love Him” on Friday, October 18, when the white dress she wears during the Tortured Poets Department segment of the show malfunctioned. In the video shared via X, the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer could be seen telling her backup dancers she needed “help” and they quickly stepped in to assist.
“Thanks, guys!” Taylor said as she continued on with the song and skipped away.
Hours before the Miss Americana star kicked off the last round of shows for the Eras tour, she got fans hyped about her Miami performance when she shared a video of herself walking around an empty Hard Rock Stadium via Instagram. In the video, Taylor wore jeans, a yellow sweatshirt and sunglasses while holding her cat Olivia. The pop star slowly took off her sunglasses as the camera slowly circled around her and she gave her signature smirk.
“Back in the office…” Taylor wrote alongside the clip which was set to GloRilla’s tune “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME.”
Taylor has been spending quality time with boyfriend Travis Kelce over the last few months as she took a break after the European leg of the Eras tour. She and Travis, 35, were spotted out and about several times.
The couple spent several weeks apart due to Travis’ training schedule with the Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor’s last few shows in Europe. However, they reunited at the “All Too Well” singer’s Rhode Island mansion in late August.
Fans went wild when Taylor arrived at the Chiefs’ first game of the season which ended in a victory. Afterwards, the NFL star and Grammy winner jetted off for a weekend in the Big Apple. The two were seen heading to dinner at a pizzeria in Brooklyn and the next day they were holding hands as they attended model Karen Elson’s wedding at Electric Lady Studios. Travis and Taylor ended the weekend by enjoying the men’s finals at the US Open, where the Ohio native looked country club chic with his red and white cardigan paired with a Gucci bucket hat.
However, in early September a photo began circulating that showed an alleged PR strategy with a logo from Full Scope PR, the agency that represents the Super Bowl champ. The title on the contract read, “Comprehensive media plan for Travis Kelce’s public relations following breakup with Taylor Swift,” and it was followed by detailed instructions regarding how the lovebirds might write a statement announcing their split.
“Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time. They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best,” one section read.
Eventually, the photo gained enough attention that Full Scope PR had to release a statement denying the legitimacy of the contract. A spokesperson for Full Scope said the contracts seen in the images were “entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”
“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,” the rep concluded.
