Hector Ó hEochagáin has issued an update on the future of his podcast that he shared with Tommy Tiernan and Laurita Blewitt.
Yes, the trio hosted the Henhouse podcast for almost four years before they announced that it was coming to an end in April this year.
Sharing in a statement at the time, they said the decision was made as it “became tougher to find the time to record together” due to individual work schedules.
However, it seems as though hope is not completely lost on a possible comeback.

Revealing to the Irish Mirror, Hector said: “Let’s just say watch this space. If the Gallagher brothers can come back…
“I can’t go five yards without people talking to me about it,” he added.
Talking about the show itself, Hector shared how he “got into the DNA” of people.
“Oh my god. It was such a laugh, and it was so brilliant for nearly three years. We hit nearly 30 million downloads. It’s mental.

“We had really deep, shock conversations and sad conversations as well as happy conversations, but timing is everything.”
Fans of the popular podcast at the time couldn’t help but share their disappointment at the news with one follower responding: “No way I am absolutely gutted!!!!!!! Every episode was such a good laugh. Would love one last one all the best bits.”
While another commented: “Awwwwh no. I loved the henhouse banter, I will miss it. Best wishes to you all.”
Well, now you know folks – never say never!
